The Pierpoint Programme prepares selected candidates for the distribution of the group's own investment instruments. Participants learn to explain products and risks, structure client conversations and document each step carefully.

The intended pathway leads towards a role in Pierpoint's in-house distribution team. The conditions for a subsequent Career Offer are set out in writing before participation.

Your path into the Programme.

Tuition funds the programme. It follows assessment and a Programme Offer.

    Conversation, integrity, communication and ambition.

    Programme Offer

    Selected candidates receive a binding place, with the terms of participation.

    Tuition

    CHF 3'500. Payment follows the Programme Offer.

    Core Programme

    Markets, products, FIDLEG, distribution, CRM, documentation and role-plays.

  6. 06

    Paid residency

    A practice phase with pipeline, coaching and quality review.

  7. 07

    FIDLEG track — external qualification

    Graduates who meet the conditions may qualify for external training, examination and register support. This is not automatic and not universal.

  8. 08

    Career Offer

    Those who meet the criteria set out in the Career Offer receive Pierpoint's defined offer. A place on the Programme is not an offer of employment.

What is taught

The craft of investment distribution.

  1. I

    Markets, products and client logic

    Capital markets, risk and return, product mechanics, issuer and counterparty risk, and a clear explanation to clients.

  2. II

    Distribution and pipeline

    Positioning, opening a conversation, discovery, objections, follow-up and disciplined pipeline work.

  3. III

    FIDLEG, appropriateness and documentation

    Conduct rules, appropriateness, conflicts of interest, documentation quality and compliance gates. An assessment result is appropriate or not appropriate.

  4. IV

    CRM, role-plays and residency

    CRM discipline, simulated conversations, live coaching and a paid practice phase under clear supervision.

The Career Offer

Clear criteria for the next step.

The Career Offer rests on auditable examination, performance, quality and compliance criteria.

Mandatory: attendance, compliance examination, CRM documentation, no serious breaches. Written examination at least 80 percent. Attendance at least 90 percent. A registration office decides on any register entry, not Pierpoint.

Access and tuition

Following a successful assessment, selected candidates receive a Programme Offer with the participation terms and access to enrolment.

The invitation code is issued with the Programme Offer. Without it, enrolment stays closed.

Tuition CHF 3'500. Tuition pays for the teaching delivered.

Withdrawal, interruption and refund sit in the contract before any payment.

Programme Offer and Career Offer

A Programme Offer is a place on the course. A Career Offer is a later, conditional offer from Pierpoint.

A Career Offer is bound to the examination, performance, quality and compliance criteria in the contract.

Top graduates may qualify for an externally run FIDLEG track sponsored by Pierpoint. This is not automatic. The competent office decides on register entry.
